RECEPTION AND DINNER TO CELEBRATE THE YEAR OF UK RUSSIAN CULTURE

HRH Prince Michael of Kent attended the Reception and Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club. Colonel Christopher MacKenzie-Beevor presided. Archbishop Elisey of Sourouzh gave his Blessing. The Loyal Toast was proposed by Mr Alexander Volohhonsky and the Toast to the President of the Russian Federation by the Marquess of Reading. The Speakers were: HE The Russian Ambassador, General Sir David Richards, Princess Selene Obolensky and Mr Vassily Shestakov. Mr Michael Wynne-Parker proposed the Vote of Thanks. The event was sponsored by the Commonwealth Sambo Association: President, The Marquess of Reading, Chairman, Michael Wynne-Parker, Director, Andrew Moshanov. In conjunction with the International Sambo Federation: President, President Vladimir Putin, Chairman Mr Vassily Shestakov, MP, Russian Duma.
