Michael Wynne-Parker has been appointed a main board member of the Foundation, HQ Moscow. The Foundation provides assistance to organizations and individuals implementing art, ecology, science and sports together with the initiatives of other social, cultural and educational organizations in various countries.
Sambo Commonwealth Finals – 24th September
Michael Wynne-Parker, President Commonwealth Sambo Association, presided over the Commonwealth Finals, Edinburgh, Scotland. Teams from Commonwealth Countries competed together with the American and Russian champions. The Presidents Cup was presented by HRH Princess Katarina to the Russian Team.

HM King Kigeli V – 22nd June
Michael Wynne-Parker, Chairman of the Guild of Travel and Tourism, presided over a Dinner in honour of King Kigeli V of Rwanda, who was celebrating his 80th Birthday, at the Cavalry and Guards Club, London. Various African and European Monarchies were represented. Speakers included HRH Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia,The Marquess of Reading, Major General Jonathon Shaw, Ian Paisley MP, Lady Olga Maitland and Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh.
Book launch in the Russian Cultural Centre, Tallinn – 6th May
Michael Wynne-Parker, Co-sponsor of “The Orthodox Icon in Estonia” with Aleksandr Volohhonski, spoke at the book launch in the Russian Cultural Centre, Tallinn. The event was presided over by HE Metropolitan Cornelius, Primate of the RO Church of Estonia and organized by Sergei Mannik.
