Michael Wynne-Parker participated in the World Public Forum Dialogue of Civilizations conference on the subject of Holy Mount Athos, it´s history, traditions, and significance in 21st Century Europe. The conference was presided over by Vladimir Yakunin, President of the Forum and President of Russian Railways. It´s director was Fr. Anton Ilin, Archpriest, Russian Orthodox Church, Brussels.

Michael Wynne-Parker hosted a dinner in honour of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev of Volokolamsk and his suite at the Cavalry and Guards Club.  This followed the launch of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow´s book, Freedom and Responsibility, at the London International Book Fair.
